Paul turned professional in 2005 off the back of a successful amateur career where he regularly represented the Welsh National team. Since turning professional Paul has managed to gain his PGA qualification whilst still competing at a very high level.
Having played events on both the DP World Tour and European Challenge Tour Paul has also had over 100 PGA victories, with the most noticeable ones coming at the 2015 & 2023 British PGA championships and the 2021 English PGA championship.
Paul has also represented the PGA at national level at the European championships in 2016 and also in the 2015 victorious PGA Cup Team.
